Serghei Marghiev a cucerit medalia de bronz la ediția a 29-a a Universiadei Mondiale de Vară

Atletul Serghei Marghiev a adus prima medalie pentru Moldova la Universiada Mondială din Taipeiul Chinez. Sportivul de 24 de ani a cucerit bronzul la aruncarea ciocanului.

Marghiev a înregistrat rezultatul – 74.98 metri, fiind întrecut de polonezul Pawel Fajdek (79.16) și bielorusul Pavel Bareisha (77.98). În calificări, Marghiev a obținut cel mai bun rezultat – 72.59 metri.

 

În 2011, sora lui Serghei, Zalina Marghieva a devenit campioană la Universiada Mondială din Shenzhen.
