Veşti de la Jocurile Olimpice de la Soci: Bogdan MACOVEI a înregistrat, deocamdată, cel mai bun rezultat

Sportivul în vârstă de 31 de ani Bogdan MACOVEI a încheiat participarea sa la Jocurile Olimpice de la Soci 2014, ocupând locul 36 în proba de sanie.

 

Deocamdată, este cel mai înalt rezultat înregistrat de olimpicii moldoveni la ediția a XXII a Jocurilor Olimpice. După trei participări la Olimpiadele de la Torino, Vancouver și Soci, Bogdan MACOVEI a decis să-și încheie cariera sportivă, dorind să-şi continue activitatea în calitate de antrenor sau consultant al echipei reprezentative a Republicii Moldova la probele de sanie.

 

Experimentatul sportiv a fost felicitat cu ocazia încheierea carierei sportive de către Dragoș HÎNCU, Viceministrul Tineretului şi Sportului, prezent la Jocurile Olimpice și Nicolae JURAVSCHI, președintele Comitetului Naţional Olimpic.

 

În următoarele zile, pe arenele olimpice de la Soci urmează să mai concureze Alexandra CAMENŞCIC (13 februarie, schi fond, 10 kilometri) și George LINDNER (16 februarie, schi alpin, super G masculin).
