Medalie de aur pentru Moldova la Campionatul Mondial de juniori și tineret la Canoe Sprint din Portugalia

Lotul naţional la caiac-canoe a participat la Campionatul Mondial de juniori și tineret în Portugalia, cu sprijinul Ministerului Tineretului şi Sportului.

 

Canoistul Serghei Tarnovschi a cucerit medalia de aur în finala probei de 1000 metri la canoe simplu, pe durata de timp 03:53, urmată de bronzul la 200 metri, același stil.

 

Pe locul al doilea s-a clasat Vladislav Chebotar din Rusia, urmat de Angel Kodinov din Bulgaria.

 

Oleg Tarnovschi, fratele lui Serghei, a obţinut locul 9 în marea finală la aceeași distanță de 1000 m canoe individual, în categoria Under 23, cu scorul de 04:13.892.
