Luptătorul moldovean Donior Islamov a câştigat medalia de bronz la Europenele din Letonia

     Echipa naţionala de lupte a Moldovei a cucerit prima medalie la Campionatul European, ce decurge în aceste zile în Letonia.

Donior Islamov a câştigat bronzul în categoria de greutate de până la 59 de kilograme în concursul de lupte greco-romane. El l-a învins cu 8-0 pe sârbul Kristian Fris după ce a reușit două procedee spectaculoase. 

Medalia de bronz al Campionatului European de la Riga a fost prima distincţie la nivel continental pentru sportivul de 26 de ani.
