Judocanul moldovean, Valeriu Duminică şi-a încheiat evoluţia la Jocurile Olimpice. Judocanul moldovean l-a învins pe sportivul Srdjan Mrvaljevic din Muntenegru și a promovat în șaisprezecimile categoriei de 81 de kg de la Jocurile Olimpice de la Rio.

 

Valeriu Duminică a fost la un pas de calificarea în sferturile competiției, însă a fost învins în prelungiri prin ippon de italianul Matteo Marconcini, cu scorul total de 110-10.
