Echipa Națională a cucerit 6 medalii la Campionatele Mondiale de Joc de Dame, rezervate juniorilor, tineretului, veteranilor și pe echipe

Marele maestru internațional Ion Dosca a cucerit aurul în programul classic la veterani. Echipa feminină de seniori (Scovițina Elena - mare maestru internațional și Șleahovscaia Ana) s-a clasat pe locul II la blitz. Zaruba Cristina s-a clasat pe locul II la programul rapid, rezervat tineretului. Dolapci Maxim s-a clasat pe locul II la blitz și classic printre juniori pînă la 13 ani. Echipa de juniori în componența Pîslari Vadim, Ursu Marcel, Dolapci Maxim și Cușnir Dumitru și-a adjudecat medalia de argint.
