Sportivul moldovean Alexandru Babii a cucerit medalia de bronz la Campionatul Mondial de Jiu-Jitsu

În perioada 16 - 19 martie, în Atena, Grecia s-a desfășurat Campionatul Mondial de Jiu-Jitsu, versiunea Ne-Waza JJIF (U18 aspirants, U21 juniors).

 

În cadrul competiției au participat 740 de sportivi din 44 de țări ale lumii.

 

Republica Moldova a fost reprezentată de 4 sportivi, Alexandru Babii și  Plugaru Adrian, Nikita Iliciov, Igor Druță.

 

Sportivul moldovean și membrul echipei naționale, Alexandru Babii a cucerit medalia de bronz, acesta este primul rezultat al moldoveanului în categoria de greutate de până la 60 kg printre juniori (15 - 17 ani). Iar, Plugaru Adrian (-85 kg) s-a clasat pe poziția V.

 

Menționăm că, anterior, Alexandrul Babii a cucerit medalia de aur la Campionatului European de Ju-Jitsu "EUROPEAN JIU-JITSU IBJJF CHAMPIONSHIP 2017".
