Două medalii pentru moldoveni, la Campionatul European de sambo

În perioada 18-21 mai, la Palatul Sporturilor din Minsk (Belarus) s-au desfășurat Campionatele Europene de sambo pentru seniori, competiție la care au participat peste 300 de sportivi din 29 de țări. Moldova a deplasat la Minsk patru sportivi: Sabina Artemciuc (60 kg), Denis Tachii (100 kg), Budeanu Natalia (68), Donos Mariana (56 kg).

 

În prima zi a Europenelor, Sabina Artemciuc (60 kg) a cucerit medalia de bronz. Pe podiumul de premiere, din partea Republicii Moldova a urcat și Denis Tachii (100 kg), sportivul nostru a obținut titlul de Vicecampion European.

 

Duminică, 22 mai, s-a anunțat că acest sport, sambo, a fost inclus în programul Jocurilor Europei, care vor avea loc la Minsk, în 2019! S-au stabilit perioada desfășurării Jocurilor Europei, 21-30 iunie 2019, și cele 16 ramuri sportive participante. Se așteaptă ca în Belarus să ajungă circa 4.000 de sportivi și 2.000 de oficiali.
