Vasile Belous a cucerit medalia de bronz la Campionatul European de box

Boxerul moldovean Vasile Belous (69 kg) a cucerit medalia de bronz la Campionatul European, care se desfășoară la Harkov (Ucraina) în perioada 14-25 iunie 2017.

 

Campionatul a reunit 258 de boxeri din 40 de țări. Acesta este oficiat de 23 de arbitri. Unul dintre ei este reprezentantul Republicii Moldova, Valeriu Bandalac.

 

Pugilistul moldovean s-a promovat în semifinala turneului învingându-l pe Damian Tadeuş Kiwior din Polonia, cu scorul 3-2. În lupta pentru argint acesta a cedat în fața lui Abass Baraou din Germania, (5-0).

 

Alexei Zavatin (+91) a fost învins şi s-a clasat pe locul cinci. Dumitru Galogoţ şi Victor Carapcevschi au susţinut la Campionatul European câte două meciuri, iar Veaceslav Gojan a fost eliminat din prima.

 

Astfel, Vasile Belous și Alexei Zavatin s-au calificat la Campionatul Mondial, care se va desfășura în Hamburg (Germania), în luna august.
