Moldova a obţinut medalia de argint la Campionatul European la lupte libere cadeți din Bulgaria

În perioada 3 – 8 mai curent, în or. Samokov, Bulgaria, s-a desfăşurat Campionatul European la lupte libere cadeți.

 

Lotul naţional, sprijinit parţial de Ministerul Tineretului şi Sportului, a fost reprezentat de 4 sportivi şi antrenori.

 

Ştefan Tonu, categoria 58 kg, a obţinut medalia de argint, după ce i-a învins pe şaisprezecimi pe grecul Genadios Karypidis, în optimi pe bulgarul Svetoslav Petrov, în pătrimi pe germanul Justin Mueller, fiind învins în finală de Cam Ali din Turcia.
