Moldova a obţinut patru medalii, dintre care două de aur, la Campionatul Mondial de pankration rezervat seniori şi s-a clasat pe locul 5 între echipe

În perioada 21 – 26 octombrie 2014, la Kecskement (Ungaria), s-a desfăşurat Campionatul Mondial de Pankration, rezervat seniori. Campionatul a reunit 13 state şi cca 300 participanţi.

Sportivii moldoveni au obținut următoarele succese:

- Aur – Capmari Dumitru (cat.77 kg), pankration submission și tradițional;

- Aur – Pocatilov Pavel (cat.84 kg), pankration Free Style MMA amateur;

- Argint – Buca Cristian (cat.71 kg), pankration tradițional;

- Bronz – Pocatilov Pavel (cat.84 kg), pankration submission și tradițional.

Datorită medaliilor obţinute, Moldova s-a clasat pe locul 5 între echipe.

Reprezentarea Moldovei (şase persoane) a fost asigurată de către Ministerul Tineretului şi Sportului.
